This is a large and heavy carving set; please review the length of the carving knife before considering it.

Handle Material: Dark horn tip (the tip of the horn is the hardest part) from African Zebu. Note that horn color can vary and can show shades of white, gray, yellow and brown. 
Construction: Stainless Steel. The knife is 13.5" long and weighs around 8 oz. The fork is 10.5" long and weighs around 6.5 oz.
